Sun Vs Black Hole

Description

Black holes can be much older than the Sun. Some black holes formed from the first generation of stars in the universe, just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang — long before the Sun was born about 4.6 billion years ago. This means some black holes may be over 13 billion years old. The Sun, on the other hand, is a second- or third-generation star, formed from the remnants of earlier stars. So in general, black holes — especially primordial ones or those formed from early massive stars — can be considered the "ancestors" of the Sun and the planets in our solar system.
