Parkside's NEW 20V Chainsaw Is AMAZING! 20V PPAGHS vs 40V PPAKS Performance Test

Parkside has released a new 20V Performance mini chainsaw — the PPAGHS 20-Li A1 — and after testing it, I honestly wasn't expecting it to perform this well! In this video, I'm putting the new 20V Parkside Performance against the much more powerful 40V Parkside Performance PPAKS 40-Li B2 to see just how much difference the extra power really makes. I test both saws on increasingly thick pieces of wood, including some cuts that are surprisingly large for a compact battery-powered chainsaw. The new 20V PPAGHS 20-Li A1 features a brushless motor, three speed settings, tool-free chain changing, automatic chain lubrication and a 19 cm cutting length. The 40V PPAKS 40-Li B2 steps things up with a 28.5 cm cutting length and a chain speed of up to 16 m/s. Both are part of the PARKSIDE X 20 V Team battery system. But there's one important thing I discovered during testing: battery size makes a BIG difference. Parkside recommends a 4Ah battery for the 20V saw, but I found that an 8Ah battery really allows it to show what it can do. So, is the new 20V Performance worth buying, or should you spend more on the 40V model?
