Kim Jong-Un Rewrites Constitution After Iran War — Nuclear Strike Now Automatic If He Is Killed
Description
North Korea has revised its Constitution to make nuclear retaliation automatic if Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is killed or incapacitated by hostile forces. The change, made during the first session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly, now codifies what experts believe was always North Korea's unstated position. Article 3 of North Korea's nuclear policy law now mandates an immediate nuclear strike if the command-and-control system is compromised by enemy attack. The move is being directly linked to the Iran war, where targeted killings of senior Iranian figures stunned Pyongyang. South Korea's National Intelligence Service confirmed the constitutional revision after briefing the country's senior officials. Kim Jong-un, watching what happened to Iran's leadership, has now made his response to assassination a matter of law. #KimJongUn #NorthKorea #NuclearStrike #NorthKoreaNuclear #IranWar #DeadMansSwitch #KimConstitution #NuclearPolicy #Pyongyang #NorthKoreaNews #GeopoliticsExplained #IndiaToday #GlobalSecurity #NuclearThreat #IranUSWar #KimNuclear #NorthKoreaConstitution #WorldNews #NuclearWarfare #koreanpeninsula India Today Global is the international arm of India's most trusted media organization — delivering factual, up-to-date news, analysis, and insights from India and around the world.
