In April 2026, Aloka will travel with the venerable monks to Sri Lanka as part of a sacred journey to respectfully bring home the Sacred Buddha Relics and a Bodhi Tree sapling. During this meaningful visit, the monks will also participate in a 4-Day Walk for Peace, spreading a message of harmony, mindfulness, and loving-kindness. During this journey, Aloka has been lovingly requested to help animals in Sri Lanka. Step by step, we are exploring how Aloka’s story can support and inspire compassion for animals who are still suffering. Aloka himself was once a street dog rescued in India and given a new life filled with care and kindness. Now his journey continues as a symbol of compassion — reminding us that every living being deserves love, protection, and peace. This mission will also inspire future plans to help animals in India, continuing the path of kindness for all beings.
